Born and raised in Toronto, Scott discovered his passion for photography when he bought his first camera over ten years ago. His playful and curious nature led him to take pictures of ordinary things with an unconventional perspective.

Scott’s photographic interests range from finding symmetry and patterns in architecture, to cataloguing urban decay, to capturing the transient movement of light trails.

Currently, Scott is focused on producing a series of intriguing, abstract photos of incense smoke. From gentle, slowly curving shapes to turbulent, chaotic compositions, these minimalist photographs captivate the viewer’s imagination and sense of wonder.

Scott’s Refined Abstractions series has been showcased at various venues:
